Set in the grounds of the Tir na Nog Holistic Centre, this wild sauna has a fantastic view over the Trossachs. The sauna itself is self-contained on a decking area with baths, showers and changing space.

Our Wild Sauna Visit
We visited Bask on a chilly Friday evening in February just as the sun set. I was really excited to de-stress after a hard week at work and try my first evening/night sauna. Bask wild sauna is a very peaceful space surrounded by nature. Being a clear winter evening, it was definitely colder outside but the view of the stars was worth it.
Guide to Facilities
Parking
There is plenty space in the car park, with closer disabled parking also.
Changing
There is a roofed changing area on the deck with hooks and benches to store your belongings. There are spare towels to sit on in the sauna.
Host
The host Nicola is very knowledgeable and welcoming. She showed us where everything was and answered all of our sauna related questions. The host was also very present throughout our visit.
The Hot Bit
The converted horsebox has seating for 6. The benches face each other with a floor to ceiling glass door looking out over a view of the gardens and sky. The sauna deliberately does not have a sand timer, to encourage users to listen to their bodies, however the host will notify you at the recommended 20 minutes. The host used some citrus essential oils which added a a subtle aroma.
The Cold Bit
There is a cold shower and 2 cold water baths. The water from the baths is reused in the gardens and as such, the host is quite strict that you have a shower before each use and have no makeup, hair products or body lotions. This made K a little self conscious to use the white baths. Being less confident in water, M preferred the baths to a wild option.
Food/Drinks Nearby
There is fresh water available directly outside the sauna. As we booked an evening sauna, the Holistic Centre was closed however, the cafe is open 10 - 5 daily except Tuesday.
Good To Know
Bask offers a loyalty card for repeat customers.
